Product Description
Toyobo (also known as Boxcar) photopolymer plate - 0.95mm thickness
This standard depth plate is a fantastic 'all round' plate. It captures good detail and is ideal for hand and foot print jewellery. We suggest starting with an exposure time around 40-50sec. This is only a recommendation, and the final exposure time for you will depend on the type of UV light you're using and the strength of the bulbs.
We offer this plate in the following sizes:
- A7 - 2 pieces. Each piece is approximately 74 x 105 mm (2.875" x 4.125"), so in the pack you get a total of about 155.4 cm2
- A6 - 2 pieces. Each piece is approximately 105 x 148 mm (4.125" x 5.875"), so in the pack you get a total of about 310.80 cm2
- A4 - 1 piece. The piece is approximately 210 x 297mm (8.25" x 11.75"), so in the pack you get a total of about 623.7 cm2
IMPORTANT - Photopolymer plates are light sensitive until fully cured, and must be stored in their UV-proof package. Work in a room with as little light as possible, and keep away from windows with natural UV light. To light up your workspace, LED lights work well as they don't cure the plate.
PLEASE NOTE: Exposure time of your Photopolymer Plates can vary depending on the type of clamp you're using. We highly recommend doing test strips first to find the exposure time that works for the combination of clamp, plates or sachets, and light you're using.
Please read our Photopolymer Plate instruction sheet to learn how to create informative test strips.
