Product Description
A replacement end cap suitable for the Junior Rotary Tumbler and the MetalClay Tumbler barrels, as well as any Evans plastic tumbler barrels.
Don't forget to warm up your cap before taking it off and putting it back on your barrel. If you don't do this your cap will be stiff and this will lead to it eventually splitting.
The best way is to immerse it in hot water (from the tap is fine) for a short while. You will feel it getting soft and it will slip on or off easily. If the barrel is full with shot and water, make sure you support the end cap as you lift it out of the hot water to make sure it doesn't slip off whilst you're lifting it.
*Do not use boiling water as over time this will cause your end cap to split*

Replacement parts
It always gives one confidence when those who sell step up and fix a problem. I bought a new non-veined barrel orange caps to finish a few projects and after about 10 -15 mins my sockets tripped. I found both lids had developed cracks and the soapy water leaked. I had followed the instructions and video to soak, then fit snugly. I’ve never had any issues with any products from MetalClay.co.uk but contacted them on email and the issue was rectified within days. A pleasant and genuine pleasure. I refer all my Metal Clay friends here. A one stop shop for the Metal Clay community in the UK and further afield.

Good quality spare lid
I was given friendly help/advice on sizing before purchase and received my lid very quickly. It fits my barrel very well and didn't leak. Goes on easily when put into hottish tap water few minutes prior to using and emptying. Very pleased with service and quality of product.
