When you're starting out with metalclay we always recommend taking a class if possible as it is hard to beat the hands-on help you get from a tutor. But, if you aren't able to get to a class there are lots of online resources, videos, instructions, step-by-step projects - including online classes.
Please note: Template shape, texture sheets, teflon/work sheet, cutters and tool designs may vary from kit to kit, and we reserve the right to replace tools to similar products if the need arise. The teflon work sheet may be subtitled for a non stick worksheet, dependent stock.

Metal clay deluxe starter kit.
Wow what a package and what a deal. Amazing value for money. Previous comments have been taken on board everything was labelled very clearly as well as the sheet in the box giving a full rundown of contents. A fabulous little instruction booklet included. Would highly recommend Also I would like to say I called the company for some advice and help regarding a project I had in mind and they were extremely helpful with ideas and methods. Thankyou for a fantastic product and amazing service.

Metal Clay Deluxe Starter Kit
This kit is brilliant and has everything that you need to make several pieces of silver clay Jewellery. I managed to make 3 pendants with the 10 g of clay that came with the kit, and I still had a little bit left over. The box has a label inside detailing exactly what's inside it which is great. I did have to look on the website though at the sizes of the spacers, as they weren't labelled, but nothing a Sharpie marker couldn't fix. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone wanting to try their hand at silver clay.

everything you need, and a bit more
After taking a local silver clay class and falling in love with the craft, I really wanted to try it out at home, but was overwhelmed by all the materials I needed to buy. This kit has absolutely everything you need to get started, plus a few things that you don't need, but will be glad to have! I couldn't recommend it more, I bought it less than 2 weeks ago and have already make 3 pendants. Everything is carefully and attractively wrapped, and there's a really handy list (with photos) on the box of everything it contains. You also get a great little handbook with detailed instructions on working with silver clay. It's also worth noting that I did the math, and this kit is definitely worth more than the sum of its parts. Highly recommended, and I will definitely buy more from metal clay ltd in the future!

Metal Clay Deluxe Starter Kit - good value for money; would make a nice gift!
I recently purchased this kit to try my hand at silver clay jewelry making. I have done lots of crafts in the past but this was new to me. I made sure to research how to use metal clay online before purchasing this kit so I knew what I was getting into. I also made sure to read all the instructions that came with this kit and managed to create something reasonably nice on my first go (second pendant is currently drying!). The kit comes in a nice box, for sure something you can give as a gift to someone. Although use of all products is explained in the leaflet, I would have preferred that all items came with manufacturer leaflets in English instead of Japanese (?) only. The kit contains many items, some you may end up not using, others you may find useful in the future. It's been a great way for me to get started with this as I only had to buy the gas and safety goggles elsewhere. I am now looking to buy some more tools and supplies to make more stuff so you could say I am hooked!

Deluxe art clay kit
what a lot of goodies and all in a nice box! I'd taken a silver clay class, and wanted to play at home. Wasn't sure what I needed, so bought the deluxe kit, plus silver clay & silver clay paste, a baby drill, file, jump rings, burnisher and polishing papers. Its hard to define what should be in the kit, and there are things I've not used so far, but have made a pendant successfully, so made a start! Disadvantages of the kit: not everything is labelled - the screen shot before you buy, has items labelled, but in the box they are not, some of the items have labels and instructions in chinese, other items are just (unlabelled) in a plastic bag, the sizes of some of the things are a bit odd - the metal brush for example is much larger than I'd expect for jewellery. The kit only has 1 pack of silver clay & no silver clay paste. But two lots of moulding compounds (but no instructions) - so you have to start, by labelling everything, then looking it up and working out what to do! ****REPLY FROM METAL CLAY LTD*** Hi Anna, Thanks for your valuable feedback.
