The Makin's® Professional™ Ultimate Clay Extruder™ Deluxe Set - a complete set of the next generation of the Makin's patented screw-type extruder, 15 of the most popular disc designs, and 3 sizes of Claycore adapters in a handy strong storage case.
This set includes all imaginable disc shapes - INCLUDING the hollow core adaptors, which are ideal for making hollow forms in metal clay, turn them into hinges, bails, or lightweight large designs!
The extruder incorporates an L-shaped handle that can be adjusted to optimise comfort, and internal features to accommodate higher torque requirements. The discs included are an assortment of designs as well as the three different sizes of Claycore adapters (1mm, 2mm & 3mm) which are used in conjunction with discs to extrude hollow core shapes. Make hinges, tubes, beads, catches, and more!
It comes in a strong case which has an easy-accessible resting place for the extruder, ten separators to keep all the different accessories tidy, a clear see-through lid and a double latch locking mechanism.
All clay inside the barrel extrudes, leaving the cylinder absolutely clean. Just remove the die and rubber ring, and use a clay shaper to remove the small bit left between the rubber spacer and die for zero waste of clay.
The deluxe set includes 15 extrusion discs - including the hollow core adaptors which allow you to extrude hollow tubes and other shapes. Perfect for making stone bezels, hinges, and tubes.
To use the clay extruder:
- Select the desired disc and place it in the Bottom Cap and acre it onto the barrel.
- Use soft pliable clay for best results
- If using for polymer clay, knead to soften the clay before extruding
- Always put soft clay in from the bottom of the barrel, do not pull and force the plunger out if there is still clay in the extruders as it may damage the plunger.
