These little kiln posts raise your kiln shelf above the floor of your kiln by approximately 14.5mm. The gap they create makes it so much easier when taking the kiln shelf out using tongs!
Using this method also prevents wear and tear, and lengthens the life of your kiln floor.
We recommend using 3-4 posts to provide a sturdy support for the shelf. You can also use them to stack more shelves in your kiln, and fire more pieces at once.

Made from technical ceramic which can withstand up to 1200°C.
