Amazing Kit

This kit is fantastic, there is so much scope from it, from sanding down wood to buffing up resin and silver! I highly recommend watching Anie's youtube videos to see just how versatile this product is. The ghost image you get from the discs is excellent for seeing your work and not overworking, for example sanding down wood with the 80-grit disc, it evaporates so quickly that being able to see how much is coming away stops you from over sanding or flat spotting it which I found was a constant issue with a belt sander. The fact that I can start the process of a wooden piece of jewellery on here and see it all the way through to the completion of a high-finish polish is brilliant. The item itself is compact, light and portable and it can be housed on its side for buffing and other sanding discs. The USB ports are a bonus so a light can be added and the visor is a great addition when you see how much dust comes off a project you're glad its got one! (I keep a rag handy for when the visor needs a quick wipe). If you have the money, I would highly recommend getting the vacuum. Well worth the money it's a powerful thing and I've had to root out a couple of pieces from the dust bag already so I've put some netting around the hole to stop this from happening again. Last thing, do your homework before you decide which kit to get unless you only want it to polish stones or polish resin then fair enough but I wanted mine for wood and silver and so after watching the videos on the Jool Tool youtube channel I was able to work out which kit gave me the most accessories I needed and brought the extra to complete both tasks. I have a strong feeling though I'm going to be buying a lot of accessories over the years for this! (I may need to invent some extra anniversaries for the gifts!)

This tool is addictive. I started with the 3 inch lapidary kit, and have been amazed at how quickly I mastered shaping and polishing a variety of different stones. Of course, I then wanted to use them somehow, which resulted in the purchase of the metal smithing kit. The abrasives are long lasting, and although they might seem pricey, they are worth every penny. At the moment jewellery making is a hobby, but it is one that would have died without the Jooltool system. It helps that the creator does many live shows on Facebook and YouTube where she demonstrates how to use the products and give many tips on how to get the best results. Metal Clay deliver quickly, and I have had great customer service with all the orders I have made.
