Product Description
NEW! JoolTool - FLAT TOP Hard & Soft Stone Lapidary Kit 4"
LIMITED STOCK AVAILABLE - SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY PRICE!
Use the new FLAT TOP Add-on kit for your JoolTool to shape and polish hard and soft stones, take a stone from a rough state to a high polish.
These new flat discs are not see through, and you work on top of the disc rather than on the underside. The 4" discs has a larger working surface so are ideal for larger stones or glass bottles, and they last longer than a 3" disc too!
Add this to your existing JOOLTOOL System. Perfect for emerald, sapphire, agate, hard quartz and any stone from the Corundum family (up to 9 on the Moh's scale - see illustration further down) and take the stone from a rough state to a high polish.
Also suitable to remove scratches from watch crystal, Waterford crystal, and other glass.
All necessary 3M Abrasives, Backpads and Cushion Pads are included.

What stones is this kit suitable for?
By Hard Stones, JoolTool mean the likes of emerald, sapphire, agate, hard quartz and stones in the Corundum family; essentially, any stone above 7.5 on the Moh's scale.
By Soft Stones, JoolTool usually mean equal to or lower in hardness than turquoise, rhodochrosite, opal, apatite, and fluorite; i.e. stones with a Moh's scale rating below 7.5.
This is just a guide. There are many more stones than listed here, and you can come across stones with varying degrees of hardness, even within the same stone shape!
