Product Description
Prussian Blue Enamel, perfect for adding colour to your jewellery!
These enamels were produced at the Art Clay headquarters in Japan by master enamellers. They are some of the best in the world and praised by world-renowned metal clay and enamel artists.
If you've taken a course with Joy Funnell, you will know these are some of her favourite enamels to work with, and it's easy to see why! They produce long-lasting, beautiful, vibrant colours, especially on silver as seen in Joy's pieces below:
Please only use the colour swatch as a guide. Enamel colours change due to different variations, e.g. how thick you apply it, what you're enamelling on, your computer screen, etc.
How to use:
These enamels work best direct onto silver or copper-no flux needed! We recommend kiln firing between 760 - 800°C. For a piece around 10g in weight something around 2.5-3 mins seems good, but kilns vary and the shape of the piece can also make a difference, so testing is always needed.
SIZE: Available in 20g, 100, or 500g
Please note: Like many other high quality enamels, these contain lead. Please review the SDS sheet here and use caution when working with these enamels. Wear a protective mask and gloves and work in a well-ventilated area. Keep away from children and do not use while pregnant. Store the enamels in a cool, dry location and avoid direct sunlight.
