Product Description
The Master Class blowtorch comes in stylish chrome, with a non-slip metal body, piezo trigger ignition, safety lock and detachable stand. It has a nice large flame, perfect for metal clay firing.
Manufactured to British Standard BS EN ISO9994. This torch really is easy to fill, lasts longer than the economy version, and is self-igniting.
The torch has a base, so you can put it down safely if you need to take a short break in the firing. Use with a firing block.
Fill with standard aerosol butane gas lighter refill (which you can buy from most supermarkets, tobacconists, hardware stores and news agent). PLEASE NOTE: Butane gas is NOT the same as lighter fluid - you must make sure you get gas, not fluid.
We recommend you let the torch rest and cool off a little every 10 minutes of firing.
Max temp is approx 1000°C.
*Please note - You must direct the flame at a 45° angle, and with a distance of about 5 centimetres from your silver. If you do not fire at the correct angle you can cause damage to the torch.*

OMG!
I brought this as a replacement for the one that came in my metal clay kit at the beginning of the year, as it wasn't holding the gas anymore. I'm sooooooo glad I did. This torch is so much more powerful and I feel confident that it's fired all the way through - the firing time for my soldering projects has dropped too. This is a monster of a torch and I'm loving it. The flame has a big surface area so you may need to adjust your distance from the clay a lot more. The wider base feels much more comfortable and ergonomic to hold too.

Great Torch
Bigger flame than the microflame torch I;ve had for over 20 years so it is perfect for bigger soldering joins such as ring shanks. Also used for firing PMC flex to good results. I hope it lasts as long as my other torch. Wish i'd paid the lower price for it.

Firing torch
Disappointing. Great for beginners
This torch was really easy to use, being the first one I've ever purchased; simple to fill up and no complicated instructions!

Easy To Use
This is the only blowtorch I've ever owned, and it does everything I need it to. It's easy to fill, easy to use, and the stand on the bottom comes in very handy. Glad to see it comes with a safety catch too.

Nice and sturdy - Easy to use!
This is the first blow torch I've bought. I was a bit apprehensive but needn't have been. You buy lighter fuel, fill it up and press the button. It looks great too!
