Gas Hob Firing Mesh with protective cover, perfect for metal clay jewellery making!
Use this steel net for firing Art Clay Silver Clay on your kitchen gas hob or on a camping gas stove. This firing mesh includes a protective cover net which you place over your silver clay whilst firing. This is for extra safety in case your piece isn't fully dry, in which case the escaping steam can cause the silver to pop and jump during firing.

Gas hob firing mesh
Haven't used this yet but it looks o.k. and seems a bit bigger than the last one I had. It was well packed and arrived quickly. Hope I get it right as I can't read Japanese!!!

STURDY MESH
I have been very pleased with the quality of the mesh and the little cage to cover pieces when firing. I used this to fire silver art clay on my gas hob and it worked a treat. Really brilliant for little pieces and very easy to use. I liked the cage bit for over the top as this was my first attempt at firing on a hob and I was worried about it exploding.
