As your Foredom motor is a real workhorse and will be part of your tools for a very very long time, you might need to replace your shaft over the years. These can wear, and possibly break, eventually with lots of wear and tear, or if you use too much pressure or maybe snag your burr on a hard part.

This is a standard keytip style - the type of flexshaft that comes as standard on the SR, TX, and LX motor from Foredom.

The shaft require a light coating of Foredom grease before use.

The Foredom Shaft replacement comes in three lengths;

39" Standard: S-93 Inner Shaft Keytip - 99cm (39”)
46" Long: S-93-43 Inner shaft Keytip - 117.8cm (46-3/8”)
66" Extra Long: S-93-63 Inner shaft Keytip - 167.6cm (66”)

IMPORTANT: Unplug your motor before doing any maintenance and never operate your Foredom without the outer sheath attached.

These shafts can be installed on all Foredom SR, LX and TX motors.
