Product Description
Convert your flex shaft’s handpiece into a precision drill press - perfect for modelling, spot-facing, countersinking and reaming in wood, wax, plastic, metal, glass and gemstones - all without buying a brand new piece of machinery!
The cast iron drill press securely holds a handpiece in a vertical position for drilling accurate holes. The press is fully adjustable - has a 51mm (2″) throat capacity, and a stroke length/drill depth up to 32mm (1-1/4″).
The work table adjusts up and down on the post, and can rotate for drilling larger pieces.
Foredom’s drill presses are designed for use with the following handpieces: H.30, H.30H and H.44, H.44T and H.44HT.
They can be matched with any Foredom motor, but are especially suited to the LX series motors for high torque/slow speed applications, such as stone setting and wax modelling. They also work great with SR Series reversible motors which allow drilling into the pieces (such as a pearl or bead) in the forward direction, and then out in the reverse action to prevent increasing the size of the drilled hole.
Can also be used with the following handpieces: H.44, H.44T and H.44HT. Please note - The H.43T cannot be used in the drill press, it is too short.
*Handpiece and flexible shaft tool are not included.
