Are you using a chisel or hammer handpiece, like the H.50 or H.15, where low speed is critical? Plug your Foredom pendant motor into this Table Top Dual Speed
Control, and you’ll have exact and precise control over the speed (no more revving by accident as your foot slips!), right at your hand.
The Dual Speed Controller comes with the standard rotary speed dial, plus a switch button to choose between two settings: Low and High.
The "LO" Speed Setting will restrict the speed between 1,000 - 10,000 RPM (400 - 4,000 SPM).
- This is ideal for using with the the Foredom H.15 Hammer Handpiece, or the Foredom H50 Chisel Handpiece. These handpieces should always be used at lower speeds, and should never be used close to maximum motor speed. It can also be useful with the Foredom Angle Grinder, the Foredom Belt Sander Attachment, and the Foredom Filer Attachment.
The "HI" Speed Setting is your regular motor speeds for rotary handpieces.
The switch allows you to quickly swap between the lower speed setting back to normal (HI), without having to adjust the rotary dial setting
This control is designed for use with 230V SR motors.

Speed control
I am really pleased with this - I find I have a lot more control both with the hammer handpiece (the reason I bought it) but also with the rotating handpiece. I have found it particularly helpful for polishing - just setting the speed and going for it. I haven't changed back to the foot pedal at all since setting this controller up (and I don't think I will). Delivery was quick, and excessive packaging wasn't used (which I appreciate). Altogether a pleasant first purchase from this shop.
