Foredom Ceramic Purple Abrasives for Rubber Sanding Drum Mandrel - 0.75" x 1.5" - 1/4" shank.
3M’s Ceramic Purple Abrasives are great for sanding and finishing wood, metals, fiberglass, diestone, plastics, and other materials. 3M’s Cubitron ceramic aluminium oxide mineral sharpens itself with use. Once initial grinding wears the grain flat, it fractures along micro cracks creating new cutting edges. This process repeats itself throughout the entire grinding process.
These have 2 - 4 times longer abrasive life than traditional aluminium oxide bands and discs and also have faster stock removal with less heat and loading.
For use with the Foredom Rubber Sanding Drum Mandrel - 0.75" x 1.5" - 1/4" shank.
Grits 80, 120 and 220 are sold in packs of 5.
