Product Description
This Foredom Benchtop Dust Collector and Filter Hood is a great addition to your workbench.
It is ideal for engineers, jewellers, and general craft users looking for a professional quality tool. This little filter hood is really efficient and will sit neatly on your studio bench, collecting dust and larger particles produced from light grinding and polishing.
Despite being small, the filter hood has a strong suction power for removing hazardous particles of dust, and collecting scraps of precious metal. The filters are simple to change (it will take you seconds) and can be sent off to a refiner for reclamation of any precious metal collected. Ideal for use with a small bench lathe (perfect with the Foredom Bench lathe M.BL), rotary tools and flexshafts, or even over your bench peg.
Made of powder coated, heavy gauge steel. It is a neat size, fitting most benches, and comes with a removable water-tight metal tray, clear polycarbonate shield protecting your face and clothes. It also has a built-in flexible bright gooseneck LED light helping you see what you’re working on.
The Foredom MAFH25-21 is dual voltage, so it works with both 220V and 110V. The machine will automatically sense which voltage is applied and automatically switch between the two.
Comes with three filters (pleated, polyester and charcoal) that are easy to change. We also have replacement filters available to buy separately. It can be moved anywhere on a bench top for use with a flexible shaft handpiece, micromotor, and other bench top tools.
2 year limited warranty.
Please note, the Filter Hood is not designed to be a fume hood or for removal of soldering fumes.

Forefom dust extractor
I am extremely happy with the product, its exactly what i needed to keep the dust at bay while polishing and sanding. It's fairly powerful and quite noisy but that is to be expected and isn't an issue, as long as it sucks away most of the dust. The filters are easy to remove and clean. The product is fairly compact and its easy to move it around on the bench or take it off easily. The price at metalclay was also more competitive than cooksons. I have always been happy with the service and products from metal clay and will buy again.

Brilliant!
This is a brilliant item. For a small workshop it’s all you need to keep the polishing debris out of your lungs. And is much less expensive than a full extraction system. It sits behind a polishing motor or you can use it with a pendant motor. It’s everything I thought is was going to be.
