Flexade - a flex shaft for your bench lathe or electric drill!
This 34″ long keytip style Flexade converts a bench lathe, drill press, or electric drill into a flexible shaft machine. Carve, polish and grind with the ease and flexibility of a flexshaft, which allows you to move around your work easier.
Includes standard outer sheath and inner key tip shaft for attaching any of Foredom's key tip handpieces.
Flexades are ideal for use with the BL Lathe which runs up to 7,000 RPM. Since the Flexade can only run in forward, it must be mounted on the right side of the bench lathe as you face it. For best performance, motor speed should operate at 3,500 RPM pr higher.
5/16″ coupling for use with all current Foredom bench lathes. Other couplings are available, contact us if you're after a specific size. This option is designed for Foredom bench lathes built in 2002 and later, or any other tool with a 5/16″ motor shafts/spindle.
