RIBBON OR PARALLEL CUTTERS FOR CLAY
These strip cutters are for cutting straight edged and neatly shaped strips of clay. Ideal for making rings or bails in metal clay and polymer clay, and making straight strips in ceramic and porcelain clay.
Beautifully made from a small UK manufacturer in tin plate, bonded using a non-toxic solder. The solder is kept to the top of the cutter, so no marks are left in your clay when you cut it.
These cut a precise and parallel line every time. Handy for so many things: ring bands, bails, plaiting, making bows, weaving, and so much more.

Makes light work for ring bands!
These cutters are great - I have all 3 sizes. Nice straight edges for designs. I have used these cutters for ring bands mostly, no guess work or messing about which means the the clay has less time to dry out! They do need a good release agent though as clay can get a little wedged.

Love the short cut
These ribbon cuts make it that bit quicker to cut ring bands to a specific width. I have the 5 and the 8 mm. Must buy the 10 next.
