Create a Unique Copper Clay Trinket Bowl
Under Clément’s expert guidance, you’ll transform soft copper clay into a beautiful and functional bowl. Learn essential techniques, including molding, shaping, and texturing, before firing your piece to reveal solid metal. You’ll also master the art of polishing and finishing, ensuring your bowl has a professional, high-quality shine.
To get the most out of the class you need to have some experience of using metal clay.
Note - the pictures are showing a few of Clément's metal clay bowls, made from both Copper and Bronze. We will apply textures that are easy to achieve without stress during one day's teaching, but Clément will chat through how he has made other textures and designs. You will be working in Copper in this class (as firing is more straight forward for a class situation) but you can apply everything you'll learn to making bowls in bronze after the class.
It also leaves an outstanding professional finish which will really set your work apart. You’ll learn all about the tools Clément uses to achieve his perfect finish and how to use them efficiently, saving time and energy.
Clément is well known for his passion for base metal clay and his bowls are just outstanding. This is your chance to learn from an expert who will generously share his tips and tricks!

Who is Clément Marquaire?
Clément creates unique jewellery with designs inspired by sacred geometry and Tibetan Mandala Art. All textures and patterns you see in his work are handmade by Clément.
Clément Marquaire graduated from the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Metz, France, in 2005. He is, in his own words; “an insatiable creative, always looking for new modes of expression, eager to learn new techniques, eager to tame new subjects”.`
He first stumbled into the world of jewellery making in northern India in 2014, where he had the chance to participate in several workshops where he learnt traditional silver jewellery making techniques. Clément immediately fell in love with jewellery making with its combination of artistic creativity, rigour, and manual work.
When Clément later followed the teachings of a Lama in Nepal, and was introduced him to Sacred Geometry and the art of Tangka and Tibetan Mandala painting, he was inspired. Once back in Europe, Clément started his own jewellery line, which combined these two disciplines. He created a unique jewellery range, modern and traditional at once.
