Clay Tack by Cool Tools, a must-have for metal clay artists. This magical solution helps build strong connections with silver clay and can also be mixed with silver clay to make your own paste.
Use this solution to make your own paste and give your metal clay jewellery extra strong bonds, the superglue for your metal clay creations! It can be used on silver clay either wet to wet, wet to dry, dry to dry or fired to unfired. You can brush the solution onto your clay to join pieces together! You can also add a drop to a small lump of clay, this will create a creamy metal clay paste or slip to help join pieces. This clay tack is designed to work well with Art Clay Silver!
HOW DO I USE IT?
Use it on its own to create bonds:
- Use a small paint brush and apply a tiny amount to both of the pieces you'd like to join.
- Join the pieces and carefully but firmly apply pressure for around 20 seconds.
- You will now have a strong bond and clean joins between your pieces!
How to create a paste:
- Add a drop to a tiny pea sized piece of clay and blend with a spatula until you have a creamy consistency.
- Use the paste for attaching leather hard/green, bone dry, or fired clay pieces. It really holds the clay in place, where you put it - ideal for fine and detailed construction work.
SIZE: 14ml (0.5oz)
Please note, you will need to shake the bottle well before use. If your solution thickens, distilled water can be added to restore proper consistency and soften it up.
