100% Recycled Cotton Tote Shopper with long handles for carrying over your shoulder.
This bag is made from 100% recycled materials.
75% is recycled waste cotton (from off-cuts in the sewing industry), mixed with 25% rPET polyester (recycled fabric from plastic bottles!).
Recycled polyester gives a second life to a material which doesn't biodegrade so would end up in landfill (or the ocean).
Did you know that roughly 8 million metric tons (!!) of plastic go into the ocean every year. This is on top of the estimated 150 million metric tons that already circulate in marine environments. If we keep this pace, by 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish.
5% of the bag cost has been donated to Plastic Oceans, a non-profit organisation dedicated to cleaning up our oceans.

The fabric is a deep grey (no bleach or dyes has been added to the fabric) with tiny specs of other colours mixed in from the recycled materials. On one side a bright orange heart is printed.
