Product Description
Give your stones the stunning setting they deserve. And do it with ease!
A plain round fine silver bezel cup measuring 4mm in diameter and a wall height of approx. 1.9mm.
To use with silver clay: To set the bezel cup you can simply roughen up the back of it and press into silverclay when wet, carve or drill an area in the clay when dry and drop it in, or you can even drill a hole in the bottom of the bezel cup and push into wet clay so that the clay bulges up through the hole. This will create a mechanical bond and a kind of rivet.
Perfect for setting those natural gemstones that cannot be fired.
please note:
• Bezel cups are manufactured to the size advertised or may be slightly oversized because we know building up an undersized stone is easier and offers better results than forcing a bezel to accept an overly large stone. Please be aware that, due to stone-cutting tolerances, this cup may not accommodate all like-sized stones.

Saves so much time
I wanted to make stacker rings, but the thought of trying to make a 4mm bezel cup filled me with dread as it is just too fiddly ! These were perfect and I will be ordering more soon. I can't vouch for their use in metalclay (although i have heard good reviews) but for the purpose i needed them for they were perfect !

Fab
Love these bezels, so many uses, fire it in clay, solder on sterling wire or sheet and you've got an empty cup waiting to be filled with whatever you like.

bezel cups
Excellant quality and speedy deliverty. In my view , all stones should be set after the piece is fired.Setting stones in bezel cups achieves the most professional result by far - and I am glad to see that Metal Clay Ltd are offering alternative suggestions for using them rather than pushing a stone into wet clay.
