Art Clay exclusive mould for making ring bands, with alphabet moulds to create personalised rings.
Create lovely personalised rings with this useful mould. It has a combination of 3 different ring band designs alongside the alphabet, numbers, and some symbols, all in one mould!
How to use:
- Make and dry the letters and attach them onto the ring band. Watch this really helpful step by step YouTube tutorial by Art Clay on how to use the mould.
- You can dry your clay in the mould, this will take about 24 hours in a warm room, or can be dried faster in a dehydrator or similar (keep the temperature under 90C).
- If you're making rings it's better to pop the design out whilst wet so you can shape the ring around a mandrel. It is a good idea to spray the mould with a little CoolSlip or apply Badger Balm to get the wet clay out easier without distorting the pattern.
The max ring size in clay form using this mould is T ½ after firing.
HOW MUCH CLAY DO I NEED?
Each letter needs approx 0.1g of Art Clay Silver to fill. Please see the image below, which shows the maximum amount of Art Clay Silver needed to fill each ring band type to its full length.
Mould size: approximately 44mm x 89mm x 7mm.
