Our newest resin - Acrylic resin in powder form!
It creates a tough, very hard, very smooth, resilient ceramic-like finish which is non-toxic.
Cured pieces are easy to carve, sand, paint and glue! Perfect for using in moulds, and can achieve high detail. Ideal for small items, like creating your own cabochons or filling bezels, or making scenic pieces such for war games, railway layouts, miniature bases or dioramas.
You just mix the acrylic resin powder with water. Use 3 parts powder : 1 part water in a mixing cup, then pour into your mould. Can be used with moulds made from our mounding compounds, including Oyumaru, etc.
The Acrylic Resin can be de-moulded in 30 minutes, and is fully cured in 24 hours.
You can paint it once cured, or add colour to it whilst mixing it up. The pieces are easy to carve, sand, paint and glue once cured.
