Siligum Moulding Compound - 300g
Siligum two part silicone moulding compound. Create your own moulds to use with metal clay or resin.
To use, mix equal parts of the two colours until they become one even colour. Press onto the texture or shape you want to capture. Let cure for about 5 minutes. When you can press a finger nail into the compound without it leaving a mark, it is ready to de-mould. Let rest for about 5-10 minutes before use.
Siligum will produce an absolute minimum of 50 casts (used with metal clay it seems to last forever) and can be used with metal clay, polymer clay, plaster, resin, and even low melting metals and waxes. If used with Crystal Resin, coat the mould with Vaseline.
Use within 12 months of purchase. 100g will cover approximately 150 x 150mm.
Pack of 300gm - 2 x 150gm pots.
The packaging has been reworked so it is now 100% recyclable, including the plastic box!

Really easy to use and makes great moulds

I know that there’s other products to do this job, but I tried this first, and I found it so easy to use, along with it being incredibly good, for getting all of the details from whatever I am casting from. Therefore I can recommend this product, and know that there shouldn’t be any problems, even for the first time users.

First used this about 5 years ago, I occasionally try other moulding compounds but keep coming back to this. It's quick, easy and clean to use - a wonderful product.

Does what it says
This stuff is ridiculously expensive but it really does do the job just as it says. Apply it very carefully though as I managed to get some air bubbles under my first attempt which made the whole project more costly than it need have been!

Very quick and easy
So far I have made small detailed moulds with this compound with great ease. The instructions are clear and the compound is easy to handle and quick setting. This was my first order with the company and so far so good!

Great Detail
I find this moulding compound better than several others including more expensive ones. It is quick to mix together with a slow enough drying time to re-mould if you feel you need to, and gives great detail. love to keep the small set in my bag for those finds when out & about.
