Another of Petra's favourite tools! Beautifully soft, extra large brass brush.
Use to brush your pieces after firing to close the surface and bring out the silver shine. This soft brush gives a gorgeous subtle satin look to the silver. This is a quality jewellery brush which can't be compared to very hard (scratching) brass brushes that sometimes are sold for Art Clay or PMC. The bristles on this brush will not hurt your hands like steel brushes can, so you can simply hold your pieces in your hand whilst brushing. And, they won't scratch your silver surface.
The brush contains 6 rows x 18 rows of bristles. The dimensions of the brush are 23.5 x 2.5cm. The brush handle is 1cm in thickness.

So soft that I didn't think it would work

Softer than I thought...
Great brushes, but I will need to get a harder one next time for working on my bronze resin sculptures.

a bit big for my needs
Its a lovely soft brush but did not realise how large it was. The metal clay items I am making are small to average size so its a little big, but all the same a good quality brush

Like Sue said in her review, this is the perfect softness for brushing your fired pieces. Highly recommended.

Perfect after-firing brush
I have been trying for a long time to find a post-firing brush that doesn't scratch my pieces too much and this is it! I have used other brushes and tools in the past but they all had drawbacks. This one doesn't. As Petra says, it doesn't hurt your hands and it gives a lovely soft satin finish. Perfect.
